rules

1. say "thank you" when someone gives you a present (even if you don't like it)

2. not everything worth keeping has to be useful

3. sometimes people laugh when they like you. but sometimes they laugh to hurt you

4. looking closer can make something beautiful

5. late doesn't mean not coming

6. don't use two words when one will do

7. if you don't have the words you need, borrow someone else's

8. saying you'll do something means you have to do it - unless you have a very good excuse

9. some people think they know who you are, when really they don't

10. if you can only choose one, pick carefully

11. when someone is upset it's not a good time to bring up your own problems

12. solving one problem can create another

13. a real conversation takes two people
